About
The OB Plant Papi identity was created for a new business selling plants & plant goods. The owner wanted something bohemian & modern. He really loved the idea of using a monstera leaf motif in the icon. He also mentioned the Ocean Beach logo, but we ultimately decided this could limit his customer base. The concept chosen for the final design incorporates a man's face, to illustrate the "Papi" portion of his business name, alongside a monstera leaf, making a unique logo mark. The contour line drawing style is both modern in its simplicity, yet bohemian in its abstract style. In the end, I created a main logo for most of his business needs; as well as a badge style design he will use in packaging materials when mailing his products.
